Position Overview : This role will be providing direct support to the Sales Team to ensure the department is meeting their sales growth targets with existing and new customers.

The successful incumbent will be reporting to the Manager, Sales Support. Responsibilities : Create, update and process sales quotes, sales orders and call off orders on behalf of our outside sales teamCRM -
ensure all account, contact and opportunities are recorded, are accurate and up-to-date in databaseRelay successful leads to sales representativesParticipate in sales meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives.
Gather and validate customer information / credit info for customer set up in databaseRoute approved Sales Orders to appropriate departments after completion (Purchasing, Operations, Distribution)Maintain / update customer price listsMaintain / update customer delivery dates on Sales OrdersManage delivery requirements for orders and co-
ordinate specific arrangements for deliveries based on customer requests.Respond to inbound calls regarding customer inquiries re : products, service, pricing, delivery, returns and complaints.
Research and resolve customer problems, claims and returns by acting as the customer liaison between other company departments when necessary.
Inbound lead qualification : identify and quantify all inbound leads to assess opportunityPotential for sales opportunities through calling existing customers and prospectsWork closely and effectively with other departments to resolve customer issues to ensure on time customer commitments.
Conduct post sale follow-up with customers.Develop and maintain accurate sales forecastsConduct ongoing customer needs analysis.
Act as a liaison between our customers and engineering in order to create / track new product codes and drawing approvalsParticipate in physical inventory counts when requiredOccasional visits to local customers and trade showsOther responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned by Manager, Sales SupportREQUIREMENTSCollege / Post-
secondary degree in Business or equivalent would be preferred3 + years’ progressive work experience in an inside sales / customer support role with a proven track record of success is essential3+ years’ industry related experience i.
