Our vision is to be the leader in the provision of outsourced services and solutions in the utility market segments in which they specialise Water, Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Mass Market (Retail).

We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Industrial Operations Manager to manage our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) team.

As C&I Operations Manager you will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of the operational activities for C&I / SME.

This will include billing and payments and customer transfers and activations.

The role of the C&I Operations Manager is to focus on the achievement of contractual service levels in accordance with regulations covering energy / C&I.

The role also requires active engagement with the C&I team, ensuring staff are effectively managed, developed, recognised and rewarded as required.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :

Providing great leadership, direction and support with a focus on recruitment strategy, onboarding, learning pathways and staff development, team building, performance metrics, appraisal management, coaching, performance management, team based reward and recognition

Oversee the end to end processes for C & I billing in accordance with SLA.

Maintain continuous improvement program, process flows and procedural documentation, including quality assurance and metrics.

Maintain risk management controls and ensure compliance to regulations as required

Actively participate in budget and reforecast processes (cost and revenue).

Manage customer engagement channels, ensuring alignment in approach with customers.

Work collaboratively with client contacts meeting with them as required

Management of Utility Billing and CRM systems

Proven people leadership experience with a focus on building and leading team cohesion

Proven ability to meet tight timeframes with exposure to Service Level management

Extensive stakeholder and client engagement management

Proven reporting and analytical abilities

Strong knowledge of energy market

Well developed written and oral communication and presentation skills

Cost / expense management

Development and maintenance of quality management of operational processes

Proficient in the use of MS excel, with understanding of MS Office applications

Desired Skills : C & I billing experience

Energy market compliance

Exposure to process automation
