As a QA Lead (referenced as a Test Automation Developer internally), you'll develop a culture of quality around you, working closely with an Agile production team and responsible for creating test plans and test strategies to suit the needs of each engagement.
You are passionate about testing and love to push the limits of software to ensure customer requirements are met and that products are bug-free.
You will report to the Associate Director, Software Development.
Prioritize and estimate work to be done alongside designers and Product Owner, to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Be transparent about progress.
Identify test scenarios that are critical and repetitive and automate them, overseeing their execution and maintenance.
Work with the team to ensure bugs are triaged and resolved in time, creating a culture of quality in the production teams you are part of
Provide test plans that allow clients to conduct UAT
Lead the development of the Quality Assurance practice area at Myplanet through process improvements and knowledge sharing
Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies and explore non-functional areas such as Performance, Security, and Accessibility testing
Skills and Qualifications
Understand Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles
8+ years industry experience in automation and manual testing
Expertise in functional, regression, cross-browser / device, exploratory, and REST / SOAP API testing
Expertise in working with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress or other test runners
