The Department of Social Development is seeking Social Workers for existing and future casual opportunities in Saint John.
The Department is responsible for providing quality programs and services to the people of New Brunswick who need help the most.

Many of the services of the Department are delivered through partnerships with other government departments and community-based service providers.

Essential Qualifications : Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
Language Requirements : Some opportunities require written and spoken competence in English and French. Others will require written and spoken competence in English only.

In order to be hired, candidates must be actively registered with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers and will be required to undergo a Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS : Working on weekends, variable hours and candidates must have their own means of transportation within the region.
Time Limits : A casual shall not be employed in any one department for more than 260 paid days in a 24-month period.
