The Asset Owner Sales Specialist team assists our sales organization in a mutual effort to expand our A&T offerings such as Portfolio Analysis, Performance & Reporting, and Portfolio Services.

The team focuses on new business and growing our existing book of clients, with a firm-type focus on asset owners, investment consultants, and insurance.

As a sales specialist, you will seek to understand these firm types and unique workflows in order to grow and preserver ASV across the America's region.

As a specialized group, we go beyond the basic knowledge of portfolio management workflows, and play a big part in the advanced knowledge and workflows in order to secure and grow ASV in our firm-type focus.

We also are immerse ourselves in our industry, and partner with our top clients and prospects in order to magnify FactSet's A&T product offerings and though leadership.

Responsibilities :

This will assist and lead our firm-type generalist & new business team on opportunities and projects related to our multi asset class portfolio suite of products.

The Analytics offering includes tools such as our Portfolio Analysis solutions, FactSet Performance Solutions, Vermilion, Portfolio Publisher and batcher, SPAR, Asset Allocation, Analytics API, PMP, Vault + Insight, regulatory, ESG / TVL, Cabot, GIPS, ACFP and more.

This role requires you to be deeply knowledgeable about these solutions, but also to partner with firm-type partner teams within A&T such as Performance, Reporting, and Risk.

You will seek to understand client types and user workflows, with the goal of identifying areas of potential growth, and then execute on those opportunities through client engagement, trials, and commercial discussions.

This is a ASV-driven role, but the team also plays a crucial part in our firm's product strategy and product development by constantly communicating product needs and feedback from our top clients and prospects.

You will have the ability and will be encouraged to be involved in specific product initiatives and get involved in any marketing events and campaigns that involve the asset owner and insurance industry.

Required Skills :

At least 2 years of client facing experience

Proven track record managing large client projects, trials, or implementations

Deep understanding of asset owner and / or insurance workflows

Interest in the financial markets, specifically the asset owner and insurance space and the relevant investment and asset allocation themes

Ability to demonstrate product knowledge and capabilities in both live client / prospect meetings

Knowledgeable across competitors including BlackRock, MSCI, Bloomberg, BondEdge, and other players in the Asset Owner and Insurance space.

Ability to efficiently handle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust to changing demands

Ability to communicate and work with a wide variety of people both internally and with clients

Proven ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Finance and industry knowledge is necessary. Candidate to be encouraged to explore working toward the CFA designation

Willingness to travel

The budgeted amount range for this position in the State of Connecticut is $70,000 - $110,000
