Great Canadian Gaming is looking for it's next Analyst, Total Rewards to join it's team!
As the Analyst, Total Rewards you will report to the Manager, Total Rewards & Human Resources (Shared Services). The Analyst, Total Rewards is responsible for maintaining all pay structures for union and non-union hourly team members.
The Analyst, Total Rewards will keep up to date on all minimum wage and collective agreement wage requirements and will update and maintain hourly pay structures as applicable, including assisting with compression analysis and updating hourly wage communication materials and systems as applicable.
The Analyst, Total Rewards will also participate in benchmarking surveys, maintain the compensation benchmarking system (Marketpay) and prepare and maintain regular and ad-hoc reporting relating to Total Rewards and Human Resources information as needed.
As our next Analyst, Total Rewards, these will be some of your key accountabilities :
Manage union and non-union hourly pay structures including managing step progression, mass increases, including maintaining communication materials, updating systems and providing end user training.
Coordinate activities related to new or updated collective agreements with regards to wages, including updating pay structures, communication materials and systems as applicable.
Keep up to date on all minimum wage changes, perform analysis and update hourly pay structures to reflect minimum wage changes and any compression resulting from these changes, maintain documentation and communication materials and update systems as applicable.
Complete compensation, salary budget planning and, benefits benchmarking surveys, support the compensation market benchmarking process as needed and maintain benchmarking records.
Maintain the company’s benchmarking platform (MarketPay), including monthly data refreshes, survey library updates, annual benchmarking survey updates, managing private survey data and troubleshooting any system issues as they arise.
Maintain the company’s job architecture, including job families, career streams and levels, job titling standards, job description analysis and record-keeping, the pay grading system and its alignment with incentive pay levels, job classification guide charts, alignment of pay ranges, as well as records maintenance, communication materials and end user training, as required.
Support the position management process required to maintain the job architecture and other position related attributes within the company’s human capital management system (Oracle HCM Cloud), referred to as CONNECT.
Conduct regular audits and perform validation related to job and pay structure related data
Maintain regular Human Resources and Total Rewards reports and support the ad hoc reporting process as needed
Undertake other tasks and projects as required
The right candidate will posses the following education and qualification requirements :
Post-secondary education in business administration, finance or human resources, along with a minimum of 3 years related experience
Enrollment in or completion of a human resources and / or compensation certification program an asset
Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications such as Word and PowerPoint
Effective verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences at all levels within the organization
Must be able to work independently and as part of a diverse, high performing team
Self-motivated and able to handle multiple priorities, with a focus on continuous process improvement
Must be able to maintain highly confidential information
Quick learner when facing new problems and able to think with a short term and long-term focus
Requires flexibility to work in situations where there is no unique, correct answer and in a dynamic business environment
