Licensing Clerk / Administrator

Castle Honda is currently seeking a Licensing Clerk / Administrator to join their family located in Etobicoke, Ontario. Castle Honda is a proud member of the Zanchin Automotive Group.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of working experience in a dealership environment.

Responsibilities :

Welcomes the customers, builds a relationship of trust and demonstrates a serious commitment to customer satisfaction.

Helps the customers by asking them questions and listening carefully to their answers, in order to identify their needs fully.

Offers to road test a vehicle for any potential customer. Follows dealership procedure to obtain the appropriate identity documents.

Obtains the required information and completes all documents required to prepare for a sale.

Negotiates the price and has the transaction approved by the sales manager.

Takes part in training courses on products and sales, as instructed by the sales manager.

Prior to all customer deliveries, must ensure that licensing, financial documents, PDI and other delivery measures have been completed.

During delivery of the vehicle to the customer, introduces the customer to Service Department, goes through all vehicle features with customer.

After delivery, follows up on accessories, documents or other special requests promised to customers, in order to ensure that all customer expectations are met.

Contacts customers within 48 hours of the sale to ensure that they are satisfied and to resolve any possible problems.

Helps display vehicles in the showroom and the parking lots.

Assists with licensing duties.

Assists Sales Manager and F&I Manager with administrative duties when required.

Establishes and maintains standards for the delivery of cars to the customers.

Understands and keeps abreast of federal and provincial regulations and municipal bylaws governing the sale of new cars, and observes them.

Assists with Dealer trades

Qualifications :

  • Training can be provided for the right candidate without dealership experience.
  • 2 years working in a dealership environment is an asset.

    1-2 years of previous customer service / administrative experience.

    1-2 years’ office dealership experience, considered an asset

    Ability to work quickly and multitask.

    Computer Proficiency. (Excel, Word)

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work as part of a team and independently.

    Valid G Drivers License with clean Drivers Abstract.
