You will be an integral member of the HR Consulting Management team with involvement in :
Build solid relationships with HEABC and unions to develop a consultative approach to actively anticipating and resolving issues and implementing required changes.
Advise clients in the areas of collective agreement and legislation interpretation and assist management with the grievance processes, planning for job action as well as implementing changes in response to new legislation or arbitration decisions.
Selects and leads the dedicated team in HR Consulting Service, including evaluating performance, mentoring, discipline or discharge of staff as required
We are looking for you as the perfect candidate to have a :
Plus five years related experience in a leadership role in employee relations, preferably in a health care or other complex unionized setting
This full time position is available at the Newport Public Health Unit in Port Moody, BC .
