The Climate Advisory Services Team is seeking individuals for the role of Climate Strategic Account Manager in Canada. This position will be responsible for the growth and sustained development of the Climate FieldView platform with partners.

The SAM will partner closely with internal account management teams to develop, and execute cross-functional account activation strategies.

  • They will influence and motivate internal and external stakeholders, providing leadership within strategic accounts.What You Will Do : Partner with the sales organization internally to identify, train and activate select accounts to establish a successful distribution channel in the region;
  • work closely with accounts and strategic plans to drive the FAB’s (features, advantages, and benefits) of the Climate FieldView Platform.

    Work in partnership with the Strategic Account Managers to coordinate cross functionally with key accounts, including senior management and internal stakeholders, to develop and implement business strategies supporting the Climate FieldView platform.

    Develop and own relationship around platform strategy with accountsPartner closely with internal leadership to develop proficiency within their teams in positioning, training and selling the Climate FieldView platformDevelop and maintain relationships with select accountsBe the primary account product expert, supporting the development of product expertise and familiarization with all sales partners in country.

    Identify, activate and continually motivate account management team to achieve FieldView sales goalsWork collaboratively with Climate departments, including Channel Enablement, Operations, Marketing and Product to help guide a customer-focused business strategy.

    Drive the business strategy with partner sales organizations; establish acre penetration, farmer adoption, active use and retention ratesBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree (preferable in Agri-Business, Ag-Economics, Agronomy or Ag-Sciences) AND / OR 7 or more years of experience with business planning, account management with bringing new technology products / services to market.

    Preferred QualificationsAbility to influence and motivate business partners and sales channels; strong work ethic, high sense of urgency, resilient and process drivenStrong verbal and written communication skills, including experience and proficiency in leading small and large group presentations.

    Ability to converse in both English and French language an assetAbility to master value based selling and effectively develop, demonstrate and communicate unique value propositions for a market changing service.

    Experience assessing, developing, training and expanding channels (e.g., seed retailers, equipment dealers, and crop insurance agents) to reach end users (e.
