Job Summary :

Reporting to the Brand Creative Director you will develop, manage and maintain the visual direction and tone of the Brand.

This role will focus on our digital and ecommerce initiatives. We’re looking for someone well versed in the worlds of : digital marketing, apps, ecommerce, and user experience.

This knowledge helps you lead a cross-functional creative team, bringing creative concepts to life and ensuring the varying touchpoints capture the look and feel that makes our brand unique.

Core Accountabilities :

  • Working collaboratively with other creative teams (photographers, videographers, writers, etc.) as well as cross-functional partners on our Brand Strategy, User Experience, Ecommerce, and Technology teams
  • You manage a team of designers and lead designers, creating the conditions for them to thrive and develop their careers
  • Provide direction and feedback to your team that drives the concept, answers the brief, drives the visual direction of the brand
  • Clearly communicate creative concepts to different parts of the business ensuring the idea is understood and aligned across key partners
  • A Day in the Life :

  • You ensure visual quality across our brand platforms
  • You work with the design team to create, develop and execute those ideas
  • You act as a mentor for designers to coach them on how to develop and present their ideas to other channels for approval
  • You handle feedback from other channels and turn those comments into actionable tasks for your team
  • You act as a filter for the brand leadership team and present ideas to them once they meet your standards
  • You create and environment for your team that allows them to grow in their roles and take on more responsibility and leadership
  • The finer print :

  • You have a diverse portfolio of design work that demonstrates your capabilities across a range of brands and channels as a hands-
  • on designer and / or creative lead

  • 5+ years experience in an interactive design role
  • 3+ years in a leadership role where you’ve directed other creatives
  • A strong grasp of user experience best practices and expert knowledge of responsive and adaptive digital design systems
  • Ability to work iteratively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
