Our client is looking for top engineers or architects based in Silicon Valley to join them and work closely with their Beijing teams on cutting-edge systems research or engineering challenges.
In this job, you will mainly work on one or more of the following directions :
Research, design and build unified container based resource scheduling infrastructure to run big data analysis, machine learning stacks and online services efficiently.
Research and design industrial leading solutions to deeply optimize the big data computing and storage setup, to enable new business needs and save costs.
The solutions will be applied to Hadoop, Spark, Storm, HBase, etc.
Actively involved in the research / industry frontiers and make innovations to keep the leading position of our client's big data platform.
Build and improve reliable and low overhead authentication and authorization mechanisms to control the access to the resources and data.
MS+ in Computer Science or related majors. PhD in computer systems research area, e.g. high performance computing, distributed storage and database, computer security, is preferred.
8+ Years of hands-on experiences and solid understanding on large scale distributed systems design and development, e.
g. storage, databases, private cloud, containers, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Spark, Mesos, graph computing.
Excellent programming and engineering skills, including object-oriented analysis and design technology, component based design technology, risk management and change management, etc.
Ability to translate the actual business needs into the requirements and produce the proper architect and design.
Proven track record to think beyond the current technologies’ limit and integrate new technologies to address the limit.
Good team player with the ability in cross team communication globally.
