Job Title : IT Hardware Asset Management Specialist
This position is based out of the Toronto office. You will work closely with our IT teams around the globe, providing support for all Slalom employees.

Partner closely with Procurement, Information Security, Finance, IT Infrastructure, external vendors and the business user community to ensure assets are properly secured and managed throughout their lifecycle.
Collaborate with IT Support on repairs, loaner laptop provisioning, and new hire processing.
Educate the Slalom internal community on proper uses of assets in accordance with IT Policies and security requirements.
Manage the day-to-day operations of hardware asset inventory, including procurement, device imaging and quality control, logistics, and vendor management.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to build and improve processes for hardware asset management and adjacent activities.
Create and update knowledge articles for team processes and procedures.
Maintain accuracy of IT hardware assets and identify issues. Maintain fixed asset inventory in each market and warehousing environments.
Responsible for partnering with Finance to code hardware-related purchases.
Liaise with the Information Security department regarding asset protection and providing evidence for security audits on matters pertaining to IT assets.
Partner with Endpoint Management to identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience through problem identification and resolution associated with technology hardware.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
2 to 3 years of experience in asset management, warranty claims, logistics, or IT
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization with confidence and build strong professional relationships
High attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues, tasks, and problems
Demonstrated ability to research and resolve complex issues, can think outside the box
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points if you have any : Professional asset management certifications such as CITAM, CHAMP
