    This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. Applicants MUST meet the following CSJ criteria to be considered for this position :

  • Must be enrolled in a FULL-TIME post-secondary school studies and RETURNING to school in the fall.
  • Obtain a satisfactory CPIC
  • Have access to reliable transportation
  • Enrollment in college or degree program in the social service sector
  • Between the ages of 15-30 (need to be over the age of 18)
  • Position Summary

    The Reintegration Support Worker will be responsible for assisting with client’s reintegration and residential needs. This position will provide support to offenders who are preparing for release, current residents, and individuals who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of homelessness.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with community reintegration clients, based on their individual needs
  • Support people who are incarcerated with release planning information
  • Support the operational needs of the Bail Supervision Program
  • Knowledge of the criminal justice system, corrections, and community reintegration
