knit people team, delivering HR services at both a regional and national level. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their HR career.
Key Responsibilities : Primary duties include, but are not limited to : Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries from employees in the Edmonton office.
Provide recruitment support for the HR team by posting job openings, conducting the preliminary screening of resumes across the firm and scheduling interviews.
Prepare general HR correspondence, which includes employment agreements and employment verification letters. Enroll employees in the group health and dental benefits plan.
Coordinate and conduct new employee orientation within the Edmonton office. Update employee information in the HRMS (ADP People work) and generate reports as required.
Assist with corporate HR projects and facilitate the successful implementation of HR programs. Maintain awareness of current Employment Standards, employment related legal topics, as well as company policies and procedures.
Professional Qualifications : Education : Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or Psychology.
Experience : 2 to 3 years of previous human resources experience in a similar role is required. Skills : Self-motivated, fast learner with the desire to continually learn and grow.
Have an energetic and positive approach to work. Solid verbal / written communication skills with the ability to build working relationships both locally and remotely.
Strong attention to detail and produce error-free, high quality output. Proficient in MS Office and Applicant Tracking Software.
