Utilize your technical knowledge, consulting and expert project planning and management skills in this challenging and rewarding Portfolio Manager, Health Care Information Systems role.

In this role you will support the enterprise, customer facing applications associated with Fraser Health’s Core clinical information systems.

Build on your career and project management experience as you :

  • develop and plan the infrastructure for the electronic health information systems and ensure the implementation, performance and stability of electronic health information systems utilized by the community health service areas of Fraser Health.
  • act as a liaison and change agent, in an assigned portfolio, and communicate the Information Management Strategic Plan including the vision, principles, direction, and status;
  • utilize your proven knowledge of health informatics, business processes, technologies and applications and;
  • translate business needs into application and technical requirements based on a thorough knowledge of all components of project management processes and the systems development life cycle.
  • You bring a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field in Healthcare. Seven years of experience in the management of information systems in a medium to large sized organization including responsibilities for communications, planning, and development / operation of electronic health information within a complex information technology environment, and at least three years’ experience as a Project Manager.

    Experience with an electronic health information system, such as PARIS, MEDITECH, and / or Intrahealth Profile is preferred.

    We are currently recruiting for two Permanent Full-Time roles. Both positions will be located at our Central City Offices in Surrey, B.C.
