IT / IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a Technical Implementation Manager to join our client and support the delivery of a cutting-
edge distribution centre in York Region, Ontario.
This $100m initiative will include deployment of the technical infrastructure and supporting a wide array of bleeding-edge technical solutions, including AI, IoT, Cloud Computing and Big Data, robotics and automation.
The successful candidate will coordinate program planning, issue resolution, change management, and extensive stakeholder management with an extensive team of internal and external stakeholders and vendors.

Ensure the solution platform and equipment is implemented on time, to budget and specification
Keep clients, workstreams and stakeholders aligned and informed with progress
Resolve on site issues and maintain the risk management process
Lead the planning of the onsite implementation program
Ensure that change controls are utilized consistently
Support site testing, go-live and ramp-up phases
Communicate between local and international teams to ensure alignment
Manage project reporting, including status, actions, risks & issues
Maintain and monitor progress against the Project Methodology
Leading and managing sites logistics project meetings
The successful candidate will require a 4-6 week training program to understand the full scope of the technologies being implemented
Top Skills Required
Extensive experience managing an extensive and multifunctional group of stakeholders at all levels of business
Familiarity managing capital programs spanning construction, engineering, technical infrastructure and software implementations
Experience with program-level planning, costing, resourcing and reporting
Experience with AI, robotics (automation), IoT would be a strong asset
Logistics or distribution experience would be a strong asset
