Duties

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) helps the Government of Canada serve Canadians. With a strong focus on quality customer service, we provide innovative common services such as real estate and building management, purchasing, banking, pay and pensions, auditing and translation to other government departments, agencies and boards.

By providing these centralized services to departments and agencies, we enable them to focus on what they do best : providing their programs and services to Canadians.

Experience

  • Experience providing cleaning services in a commercial setting.

    Education

  • Safety Orientation Courses
  • Experience

  • Experience in landscaping
  • Experience in the use of spreadsheets and work processing software and email applications (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook).

    Operational Requirements

  • Willingness and ability to perform extra duties as required.
  • Willingness and ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Willingnes and ability to operate snow removal requipment such a snow blowers,
  • skid steer loaders, and power brooms.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

  • Reliability Status Security Clearance
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime and stat holidays occasionally
  • Ability to lift / move heavy objects up to 25 kg while practicing proper safety procedures
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
