We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.
The inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
Must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with walk-in customers looking to buy products, quoting products and projects, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understand customer needs and requirements
Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Close sales and achieve quotas
Research Accounts, identify key partners and generate interest
Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory
Interpret part drawings and work with the team to create customer quotes
Proven inside sales experience
Track record of over-achieving quota
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to multi task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Self motivated and driven
Works well in a team environment
Post Secondary in business with 3+ years of related experience or 5+ years of specifically related experience in sales of manufactured products.
Specific experience in selling machined plastic, wood or metal a plus.
