Inside Sales Rep

Compensation & features :

  • Full-time Competitive base salary
  • Bonus structure on sales growth
  • Regular work hours 8am to 4 : 30pm (1 hour lunch) Mon-Fri

    Job brief

    We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.

    The inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

    Must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with walk-in customers looking to buy products, quoting products and projects, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.


  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
  • Close sales and achieve quotas
  • Research Accounts, identify key partners and generate interest
  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory
  • Interpret part drawings and work with the team to create customer quotes
  • Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Post Secondary in business with 3+ years of related experience or 5+ years of specifically related experience in sales of manufactured products.
  • Specific experience in selling machined plastic, wood or metal a plus.
