Are you up for it?ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management ExperienceProven ability to develop new ideas and creative solutionsAbility to create and implement innovative processes for payrollRecord wage related transactions as needed.

Demonstrate the aptitude to audit for quality, and analyze for root causePayroll Balances and controls at input and output (Source to Gross, Gross to Net)Balance timesheet records and manual payroll transactions to payroll system reports, research and resolve issues prior to processing payrollPayroll Accounting supportComplex payroll queries & escalations by producing timely responses to employee inquiriesVendor operations managementPoint of contact for stakeholders (Benefits, Compensation, Stock Options, P&O Services, Local P&O, Recruitment, Accounting, Treasury and others)Supervise payroll register and tax reports to payroll transactions for each pay cycle for preparing and distributing payroll related reports to various departments and executivesReview monthly, quarterly and annual payroll reports to verify accurate tax filing by our payroll tax vendorProjects : process improvement (Six Sigma), country expansions, new payroll setupExcellent customer service, detailed, strong problem solving and proactiveIdentify training needs for teams and individuals.

Supervision of Payroll AnalystQualificationsTechnical requirements : 4 years’ experience working in Payroll process end to endBachelor's degree required in accountingFluency in English, Excellent oral and written communication skills and Spanish is required (written and spoken), with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to express oneself in a logical and concise manner are essentialAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially ExcelSupervision experience is a plusComprehensive knowledge of payroll processing and Costa Rica wage lawsDesirable experience in share services, call center and multi-national companies.

Working knowledge of payroll best practicesKnowledge of Document Management Software as Share Point is a plusEnglish level B2+Abilities & skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team building skills and the ability to establish effective relationships and rapport with a wide variety of individuals will be crucial to successExcellent interpersonal skills with a customer service focusSelf-starter who can work with projects from start to finish.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to work independently. Demonstrates initiative to follow up on pending issues and organize assigned work.
