The Managed Services Delivery Consultant is responsible for deploying, troubleshooting and reviewing infrastructure solutions as well as overseeing infrastructure projects as the technical lead and completing quality assessments.
As a senior member to the team, is competent in the full deployment of the solution, can deploy independently and oversee the technical work of others which includes resolving complex technical issues for a wide variety of clients through various means including on site, e-mail, and phone, while working with desktops and servers,
Leads the install, configure, optimize, troubleshoot and support Microsoft Windows (2008 / R2, 2012 / R2, 2016, 2019), Exchange (2007, 2010, 2013, 2016), Virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V), Remote Desktop Services, Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop and other core infrastructure components
Implement, and troubleshoot Office 365
Performs quality assessments
Proven experience in delivery of technical projects on budget and on time
Effectively troubleshoot infrastructure issues like performance bottlenecks or configuration faults
Produce accurate and informative technical documentation
Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-energy environment
Understand the dynamic nature of a client's business and deliver the best-fit solution
Deal effectively with all levels of customers and team members
Work well under pressure and manage expectations effectively
Minimum of 5 7 years' experience in a similar role
Relevant technical diploma or commiserate experience.
Current technical certifications such as Microsoft certifications, Office 365, VMware Citrix, is an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Substantial experience with, Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 / 2019, Active Directory, Hyper-V, SAN Solutions, Office 365 Subject Matter Expert level of understanding for at least one core infrastructure component
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Effective / proven communication skills
Experience installing, configuring, optimizing, troubleshooting and supporting Citrix XenApp / XenDesktop is an asset
Experience in implementation and management of Microsoft Azure is also an asset
Ability to research and apply knowledge effectively
