Senior Learning Specialist
The Opportunity :
As the Senior Learning Specialist, you will manage the Maple Leaf Foods Leadership Track program through design, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of several key initiatives across the organization.
You will work closely with both the people leaders and employees in the program.
A snap shot of some of the exciting things you will lead and do :
Manage the Leadership Track Career Development Program which is a three-year rotational program for new graduates.
Identify issues and / or recommend program improvements
Partner with the executive sponsor to ensure the program provides participants with on the job learning opportunities to deliver business results, formal development to ensure they graduate from the program with the competencies necessary to seed the business with future leaders and business mentors to support their development.
Effectively coach program participants
Partner with internal recruitment team to design and execute campus recruitment initiatives
Work with HR Business Partners ’s on talent planning for the program
Collaborate with Executive Program sponsor and the leadership learning team to design and coordinate various learning programs and initiatives for program participants.
Lead the performance management, merit and Leadership Excellence Review process for Program participants and recommend improvements as needed
Track and communicate metrics demonstrating the success and status of the program
Coach and support senior leaders in the organization as they mentor program participants
Design and develop effective and engaging content and materials, employing recognized adult learning principles. Work with functional subject-
matter-experts to ensure the content is reflective of current business practices and addresses existing skill gaps

What you will bring :
College or University degree in training, adult learning, organizational behavior, or human resources or equivalent certification in adult learning principles (CSTD)
2 or more years of experience in content development or learning / training
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including writing, listening, speaking, and facilitating
Strong attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills to support multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional business stakeholders across all levels
Proven ability to deliver in a fast paced, dynamic business environment
Highly motivated and results driven, with high energy, resilience, and leadership presence
