Reporting to the Director, Loyalty & Retention

The Manager, Streaming Engagement is accountable for driving reduced churn and higher ARPU through the promotion and engagement of our streaming service.

Accountabilities :

  • Leading the development and manage the execution of all streaming engagement efforts to our customer base to achieve streaming usage targets (streaming rates, time spent listening, monthly active users and number of channels listened to) to help reduce churn
  • Developing the onboarding communication strategy to deliver user credentials and inform, engage and excite customers about our streaming content and features
  • Developing communication cadences to re-engage lapsed users and drive higher listenership of existing streamers
  • Responsible for upselling add-on service packages (Select to All Access)
  • Responsible for budget management and achieving OPEX spend targets
  • Working with the analytics team to deploy communications based on customer listening patterns
  • Working with the analytics team to develop reporting to understand and improve performance of all KPIs
  • Accountable for working with campaign operations and external partners to set up new campaign and deploy communications through all available marketing channels (in-vehicle messaging, email, direct mail)
  • Responsible for driving the analysis and delivering presentations to senior management on streaming engagement performance
  • Staying up to speed on streaming content and features by working with internal teams and SiriusXM US
  • Collaborating with marketing and acquisitions teams to drive awareness on streaming and implement multi-channel marketing tactics (social, digital)
  • Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    Level of Education

  • University degree with a marketing focus as an asset
  • Job Related Experience

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience, with minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant industry and customer or subscriber management experience
  • Knowledge of marketing campaign operations and CRM analytics
  • Experience in subscription-based industry and product marketing a definite asset
  • Skills and Background

  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong sense of independence, ownership and ability to drive projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage people, coach and motivate staff
  • Solid written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Communications
