We are hiring Fixed Term Warehouse Workers to join the outstanding team in our Ottawa Retail Service Centre facility (1980 Bank Street).

Working Safely During COVID-19

    Required Working Period

  • Dates : Tuesday, September 7, 2021 - Saturday, January 8, 2022
  • Shifts

  • Afternoon (4 : 00 p.m. - 12 : 00 a.m.)
  • Midnight (12 : 00 a.m. - 8 : 00 a.m.)
  • We are currently looking for people who can reliably and enthusiastically thrive in a busy warehouse environment. You will be performing Warehouse Centre functions in the area of Shipping, Receiving and Order Processing.

    You will play an important role in getting our products out to the LCBO stores throughout Eastern Ontario.

    This job requires you to be independent, resourceful and a team player. You will be asked to perform many different tasks, working with people across the organization.

    The Job

  • It’s a physical job. We load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits and cider that weigh between 40 lbs. (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60 lbs.
  • 27 kg) for the shift it is repetitive movement.

  • Picking, assembling, and palletizing store orders and operating material handling equipment (Material Handling Equipment - MHE) - free training will be provided to the successful candidates.
  • Repetitive movement and lifting of cases varying in weight.
  • Standing for extended periods of time and being able to reach, climb, bend, twist, and walk safely.
  • Ability to work rotational shifts may be required as well as overtime.
  • This position requires the ability to speak and read English, as well as proficiency in working with numbers.
  • Canadian Safety Association (CSA) approved safety footwear is required.
  • We love college and university students, people who want a second job or are currently out of work. That said, we welcome all types of workers.
  • Our Shifts and Pay

  • We operate Monday to Saturday.
  • We rotate shifts but the priority are the afternoon and midnight shifts.
  • The pay rate is $16.42 per hour.
  • We pay you for four (4) hours of training!
  • We are unionized, which means you pay union dues.
  • We expect you to provide us with a criminal record check that was issued within the last 6 months we’ll give you more information at the right time.
