Qualifications :

  • Grade 12 education or educational equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year recent Storekeeper / Inventory Control Experience with a large organization required (Candidates who do not have 1 year Storekeeper / Inventory Control experience may be considered if there are no internal or external qualified candidates).
  • Knowledge of PCs and handheld barcode devices and the ability to analyse data for input and recall information.
  • Must demonstrate an ability to understand and comply with store keeping and inventory procedures and methods. Clinical product knowledge an asset.
  • Able to perform the full range of duties as required in this position including some lifting of weight (e.g. carrying up to 60lbs / 132kgs) and working in a variety of different climates / temperatures.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pump trucks (manual and powered).

  • Demonstrated initiative, flexibility & proven ability to work independently and to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and knowledge.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team player.
  • Proven ability to get along well with co-workers, patients and staff.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be accurate, thorough and detail-minded.
  • Satisfactory attendance record.
