As a Junior Site Assessor, you will work with our Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation practice in our Hamilton or Markham, Ontario office.
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individual capable of both working independently as well as collaboratively with a keen interest in environmental site assessment to join our team and advance their career.
As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities relating to Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESA, remediation programs, and contaminant hydrogeological investigations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Learn and follow standard operation procedures for work assigned, while continuing to develop skills
Demonstrate ability to analyze field and technical data, and draft technical reports
Execute field programs with site visits, test pitting, borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, soil vapor surveys, soil and groundwater remediation monitoring and surveying
Evening and weekend work may be required.

Valid driver’s license required
Education and Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, or similar discipline
0-2 years work experience in surface water, wastewater and / or potable water sampling would be considered an asset, but not required
Field work will include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
