The Regional Vice President, Operations and Sales is a critical role within our communities as it impacts the lives of residents through the strong leadership and motivation of Sienna team members.
As a Regional Vice President, Operations and Sales your typical day will impact in the following ways :
As part of the Retirement Residence team, participating in the development, execution and achievement of the long term strategic plan for the Retirement Residence platform.
Providing overall operational leadership to the Residences within the assigned Region in the areas of : Customer Service, Quality Improvement, Food and Beverage Services, Leisure and Residence Services, Risk Management, Health & Safety management, Facilities Management, Human Resources management and Financial management.
Ensuring the operations of assigned Residences are in accordance with Support Services Office policies and procedures as well as compliant with provincial legislation, regulations and standards, including the RH Act 2010 (ON) and Community Care and Assisted Living Act (BC), as applicable.
Leading and supporting the Sales team to develop and execute effective sales plans to drive traffic, sales conversion and revenue growth (REVPAS).
Collaborating with the Marketing team to ensure lead generation through various media mediums.
Developing the annual operating plans and capital budgets; execute, monitor, report results and take corrective action as required.
Fully execute the organization’s People processes including : talent acquisition, performance management, coaching and mentoring, compensation, and talent development.
Providing leadership and supporting Residences with collective agreements, escalated grievances, arbitrations, and negotiations.
Managing the community and family and resident relations in a manner that reflects the organization’s Mission Vision and Values and also promotes and strengthens the brand.
Participating in the development and / or changes and enhancements to brand strategies including, promotions, advertising and communications.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Must haves :
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Hospitality, Health Care, or other relevant program.
8+ years’ in progressively senior operational positions.
Sound knowledge of health and services administration, human resources, finance and information management.
Understanding of all aspects of Retirement Living in Canada.
Committed to excellence, continuous improvement and providing high quality care and services to all residents.
Proven leadership and coaching skills.
A collaborative team player, with proven ability to set direction and drive change.
Strong communication skills.
All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check.
Roles which will be within Sienna’s Communities on a reoccurring basis will also be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check.
