As a Recruitment Specialist reporting directly to the Recruitment Manager , you will work with our operation teams to ensure that we achieve our staffing objectives and represent ClearStream as a leader in energy and industrial markets.

What You Do :
Attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals.
Work with regional operations and HR Business Partners to identify potential transfer opportunities.
Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board / newspapers / colleges
Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media
Screen candidate’s resumes and job applications
Update and maintain applicant tracking system by updating jobs and candidate profiles.
Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools / methods to filter candidates
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Trade and safety ticket, abstract collection and verification.
Communicate with regular follow-up to Hiring Managers / Regional Operations regarding recruitment activities.
Assist in creating information packages for projects, shutdowns, and turnaround to be distributed to candidates.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote company’s reputation as best place to work

What You Bring :
Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates.
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based)
Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, in person interviewing)
Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong decision-making skills
Minimum 3 years of high volume recruiting experience
Experience with and knowledge of industrial trades
Post-secondary education in a related field also considered an asset.
