The Krembil Research Institute at the University Health Network in Toronto Canada is seeking a basic scientist in the area of neuroinflammation.
Preference will be given to individuals with a research focus on the involvement of innate immunity, including the roles of immune mediators such as microglia and astrocytes, and their expressed cytokines and chemokines, in neurodegenerative diseases affecting the human CNS.
The successful candidate will have a PhD or MD / PhD, postdoctoral experience and demonstrated research excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to qualify for an appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level (status only) in the appropriate department at the University of Toronto.
