Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, this skilled professional will jump into a leading role for marketing automation for the organization, acting as both the lead product manager and lead marketing strategist.
They will be the key resource responsible for developing and executing Fairstone’s marketing automation strategy as well as developing the basis and the implementation of a lifecycle marketing strategy.
The successful candidate will bear responsibility for building customer journeys and developing and executing marketing automation campaigns across the organization, working highly collaboratively with various internal departments and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing automation and lifecycle marketing and will consider themselves to be an expert in the space.
Lead overall marketing automation strategy and vision, designing roadmaps for short and long-term implementations while understanding how the initiatives connect back to organizational objectives
Ensure the implementation of the full technical ecosystem in collaboration with our technology group required to feed marketing automation initiatives, driving optimization and efficiencies across the organization
Lead cross-departmental and cross-functional initiatives, working highly collaboratively with various internal departments (risk, collections, marketing, etc) to identify, understand, design and activate on their needs, prioritizing initiatives based on ROI
Plan, build and execute cross-channel (both online and offline) communications, campaigns, and customer nurturing programs, while providing training and documentation for internal users
Lead and act as key liaison between primary stakeholder teams, including marketing, digital and technology, and analytics
Ensure consistent implementation across channels driving outstanding customer experience (CX)
Lead the identification of opportunities to optimize conversion points across the marketing and lead generation / nurturing funnels
Direct the creation and optimization of segmented profiles and target lists as part of automated campaigns
Manage the creation and implementation of testing strategy, including A / B and multivariate testing
Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas to improve processes, speed, and data accuracy
Comply fully with all privacy, confidentiality, marketing permissions and data security

The minimum qualifications for this position are :
Bachelor’s degree; or college diploma in related field
Extensive experience in marketing automation using market leading platforms, specifically experience identifying, designing, implementing and assessing organization wide marketing automation initiatives
3+ years of experience in product management, with experience creating and maintaining strategic product roadmaps. Certification in product management an advantage.
Experience managing and executing campaigns within a Customer Data Platform (CDP) or, in the absence of one in former roles, a robust CRM
Understanding of database management, platform integrations, data connectivity across disparent platforms, data modeling, segmentation, and analyzing customer data
Knowledgeable in online-offline connectivity and trumpeting an omnichannel approach
Experience with A / B and multivariate testing, and considers oneself to have a strong analytical mindset
Experience in project management, executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating in an agile / sprint environment, with strong ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize accordingly
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
Financial services industry background an asset
Bilingual (English & French) an asset
