As the Senior Project Manager, you will be in a unique position as a leader and facilitator who will be responsible for bringing complex creative projects to life.

You will work at the intersection of art and architecture, identifying and implementing innovative and creative solutions for our clients.

You are an expert on making the complex and challenging, simple and enjoyable. As a leader on the Project Management Team, you will play a key role in strengthening Project Management departmental duties, as well as subcontractor and manufacturing relationships.

You will assist on expanding our internal processes, streamline project life cycles and build internal processes. You will be accountable for assuring the achievement of designated productivity, cost, quality, safety, environmental and customer satisfaction goals.

  • University degree in Construction Management or similar field.
  • 8+ years commercial construction industry experience in a PM or management level position.
  • Demonstrated experience as a strategic thinker, knowledge of problem-solving techniques with high degree of analytical skills, brainstorming, value stream mapping in-
  • order to develop strategic planning and execution.

  • Excellent relationship management skills to help achieve stakeholder buy-in, create and maintain successful client relationships, with the ability to deal with opposing opinions and capable of leading a team towards best outcome.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of pre-construction, custom projects, small projects, and construction including but not limited to : management, finance, employee and client relations, SOP’s, technology, equipment, materials, negotiation, engineering, estimating, scheduling, contracting, change management and safety.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and USA
  • Valid drivers license
  • Works closely with Project Development Team and Project Management team to develop the project implementation plan, scope of work document and production plan, standard operating procedures and implementation of project reporting structure.
  • Develop strong working relationships with Business Development, Project Development and Project Management teams working collaboratively in project requirements at any stage of our process : Conceptual Design, Plan Build, Project Development or Project Finalization.
  • Review, evaluate and improve on standard operating procedures and processes using sound Change Management Principles.
  • Work closely with Design Team to ensure project development is in line with budgets, schedule and client expectations.
  • Development of risk tracking and planning to ensure success in Project Management, production, and installation departments.
  • Continuous engagement in effective and timely resolution of all project disputes to ensure effective and sound completion of projects based on client expectations and assist Project Managers with deficiencies, client wrap up and project close-out.
  • Ensure accuracy in all monthly reporting from the projects team included, cost reporting, progress updates and forecasting.
  • Implement and monitor KPI tracking in line with requirements.

  • Works to achieve standards of excellence and demonstrates flexible and efficient time management, with a strong ability to prioritize workload and presents positive solutions.
  • Direct and lead staff, train, coach and monitor performance to assure corporate performance goals are met within the project team, while providing mentoring and individual development plans for all key individuals directly reporting to this position.
