Federal Public Service
Ottawa (Ontario), CA

Important messages

When you apply to this selection process, you are not applying for a specific job, but to an inventory for future vacancies.

As positions become available, applicants who meet the qualifications may be contacted for further assessment.

Note that the candidates who will be selected to move on to the next step may be chosen at random.

To apply, you do not need to provide a cover letter. You must provide a résumé and answer some screening questions online.

When answering the screening questions for the education and experience requirements listed under "essential qualifications" and "other qualifications", you must provide specific examples to clearly demonstrate how you meet the qualification.

We cannot make any assumptions about your experience. Simply saying you have the required qualifications or listing your current duties is not enough.

Instead, provide concrete and detailed examples that clearly explain where, when, and how you gained the experience. We will only use your résumé as a secondary source of information.

If you do not clearly demonstrate you have the required experience, we will not ask for additional information and you may be screened out.

Your application in this inventory will be active for 180 days. A notice that your application is about to expire will be posted to the "My jobs menu" of your account 7 days before the end of your active period.

If you do not take action, your application will no longer be active and therefore no longer considered for this inventory.

Should your application become inactive while the process is still open, a notice will be posted to your account indicating that your application has expired.

You may select the link "Update my Inventory Status" to reaffirm your interest.

Candidates who do not meet the essential experience criteria and who are eliminated in the screening phase can update their application in the inventory for another draw, but they will not be re-

assessed unless 6 months have passed since they were last eliminated from consideration.
