The Opportunity : Senior Associate, Corporate Tax

Our Tax group is seeking a motivated, and technically strong, senior associate to help bring the firm to the next level.

Responsibilities :

  • Preparation of provisions for tax on income for prestigious public and private entities recognized in various industries such as : retail, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, mining, real estate and manufacturing industry.
  • Preparation of federal and provincial income tax declaration and other forms for business entities.
  • Compilation of information relating to clients and preparation of client files;
  • Follow up on notice of assessment and reassessment
  • Communication with tax authorities
  • Research and documentation of tax memos
  • Optimization and fiscal planning of corporate groups.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-4 years of experience in tax provisions
  • Accounting title or in the process of completing the Indepth Tax course or the Masters in Tax, an asset
  • Knowledge of accounting fundamentals, finance and tax accounting
  • Knowledge of Tax Prep software and tax system research tools
  • Completion, a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of basic concepts in financial accounting and taxation
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize;
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with customers.
  • Fluent in spoken and written French
