Position Summary :
The Associate Financial Analyst performs analyses and reporting for assigned financial area under the general supervision of the Plant Controller.
Assists in other financial research projects and analysis of business operations. Offers support to the finance / accounting team while collaborating with all departments.
Areas of responsibility may include : Accounting, Costing, Forecasting, Budgeting, Analyzing Operation Performance, reporting and internal controls.
Position Responsibilities :
Play key role in month end closing process including journal entries, account reconciliation, shop order close out, expense review, and reserve maintenance.
Provide expertise / support on the company's expense management tool (EAM & Concur). Improve plant financial status by monitoring outstanding liabilities.
Working closely with Accounts Payable and ConAgra Contractors to ensure the Plant's accounts are up to date.
Strengthening / Partaking in the plant's inventory counting policies for Raw / Pack materials, MRO, and Fixed assets.
Support analysis of plant's capital projects and fixed asset management.
Help support the preparation of yearly operating budget with cost center owners and validate BOM recipes versions and other costing assumptions.
Provide / Develop periodic reporting and forecasting tools in aiding management decision making.
Develop and implement policies and procedures while ensuring the plant's adherence to the company's internal controls.
Support the plant's Zero Loss Analysis (CPS) and other Continuous Improvement initiative.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested
1-3 years of progressive Manufacturing Finance related experience.
Bachelor's degree in Finance and / or Accounting.
Completed or working toward a CPA designation preferred.
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of general business concepts.
Ability to analyze and model financial information into actionable data and recommendations.
Fundamental understating of IFRS and US GAAP.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's and other data manipulation formul a s).
Experienced with Manufacturing ERP system (SAP / BPCS experience preferred )
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills under pressing time constraints
Proven ability to partner with various business disciplines and work collaboratively.
Ability to deal with ambiguity, and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
