The RendezVous Systems Evolution (RVSE) team of Customer Service Excellence (CSE) organization is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and driven Business Consultant, to join our team to deliver on complex, transformational systems projects.

How will you drive business success? The RVSE team is the Consumer business owner for the technician systems of engagement, which include the workforce management systems, technician mobile applications, and mobile device management.

Through strategic projects and system support, we ensure these systems work seamlessly end-to-end and perform optimally so that our technicians can serve our customers in a most efficient and cost-

effective manner. Our goal is to reduce customer effort while improving our cost to serve.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

As a Business Consultant on the RVSE team, you will be accountable for driving the field system strategy to improve efficiency while helping to grow revenue.

Reporting to the Manager of Program Office, you will leverage your strong background in business analytics, systems analysis, program management, and business acumen to articulate business problems into user stories that can be taken on by the Development team to deliver new system capabilities.

You will also work closely with stakeholder groups for business readiness, and drive adoption of new processes and tools in order to deliver the intended business results.

Here’s how

  • Lead in the development and implementation of process and system changes for project launch, including : requirements definition;
  • business case development; risk assessment / mitigation; stakeholder update presentations; user interfaces / processes; documentation;
  • test scripting and testing

  • Be accountable for timely resolution of post-launch support issues involving TELUS systems and processes
  • Liaise within team and interfaces with internal clients on cross-functional implementation activities to meet deliverables and influence decision making
  • Develop new tools and processes, and facilitate discussions by demonstrating subject matter expertise when explaining outputs to senior leaders
  • Ensure open and ongoing communication to support change management
  • Ensure that business impacts are accurately captured and communicated to stakeholders while providing input, expertise and guidance to project teams on potential impacts the project have to the Customer Experience
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the business and technical team members engaged on your portfolio
  • Support the business analysts assigned to your portfolio in the creation and refinement of user stories

  • Superior conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to strategize and interpret business objectives
  • Proven track record in managing multiple projects from start to finish, and ability to work successfully under pressure
  • Creative mind and the drive to initiate your own projects
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and applications
  • Strong competency in the Google and Microsoft (MS) Office suite of productivity applications
  • Proficiency in presentation creation and delivery
