Adecco is currently hiring a Bond Administrator for our client located in Downtown Toronto. The Bond Administrator role is a 6-month contract with a pay rate of $18 - $20 per hour.

The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years’ experience in Financial Services and must have Intermediate Excel Skills. Experience with bonds considered a strong asset.

Bond Administrator Responsibilities :

Set up and maintain administration files and information on various systems (CART, COSMOS COMPANY, SCRIP, COSMOS Trust, RADAR)

Monitor compliance with covenants of agreements ensuring timely follow-up and receipt within prescribed deadlines

Calculate Interest / Redemption / Sinking Fund / Maturity & other distributions & payments to ensure accurate and timely payments

Track, log, calculate and submit on-going fees and out-of-pocket expenses and collections for client accounts, following up on overdue accounts to ensure all services are billed and payment is current,

Maintaining general email inboxes, open all incoming emails, reroute / reply / save / file as appropriate

Completing monthly outgoing wire reports

Respond to telephone and written inquiries

Researching and retrieving archive records where necessary, to provide satisfactory response in a timely manner

Processing of interest payments, request covenants, sending letter to issuer

Provide support to department activities, including coordinating the preparation of tax forms, filing, mail, vacation backup, and other special projects as they arise

Bond Administrator Qualifications :

Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services

Experience with bonds considered an asset

Math background ideal

Experience in client reporting system (SCRIP) considered an asset

Experience in SharePoint for calculating interest payments, make payments to holders on the list

Intermediate MS Excel skills candidates are required to complete an MS Excel test
