You will create sales strategy in alignment with Cognizant Retail and SAP SBUs
You'll discuss plans with key partners and incorporate it into a broader client strategy and plan for the Retail SBU
We will need for you to align with SAP stakeholders (AEs, RVPs, others) in the region
You will get to work with SAP Centers of Excellence to develop industry specific solutions
You'll also create eminence for Cognizant Retail and SAP practice, attend seminars, present Cognizant POV, capabilities, etc.Relationship Management-
You will execute and manage the account plan under the guidance of the SBU Heads
We'll need you to invest time in strengthening our existing client relationships
You'll be participating in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives
Our new team member will need to be comfortable in working with the CXO suite
You'll also be working closely with our Cognizant offshore teams and nearshore locationsBusiness Development
In this important role, you'll work with a Sales target of $10 million and above
You'll be responding to and delivering on our client's requests for new business including RFPs
You will get the opportunity to own the response to RFPs
You'll be involved in identifying new opportunities for the SBU
You are going to make proactive proposals to clients in line with Account Strategy
You're going to obtain all needed approvals to pursue opportunities.
You'll also be engaging our relevant teams for solutionsRequired Qualifications :
Undergraduate Degree or Equivalent Experience
At least 8 years SAP-related Work Experience in the Retail Industry
You will bring experience with multiple, full life-cycle SAP implementation projects
You should demonstrate a proficiency developing high-level and detailed program and project level activity / task work plans, schedules, staffing plans, and work-effort estimates
We'll also need for you to be experienced in pre-sales activities such as lead qualification and development, team sales, partnering with other solution providers, RFI / RFP (bid) responses, bid response presentations to customers
We also need for you to show extensive experience working for a Tier 1 or comparable systems integrator in SAP Sales / Pre-Sales with demonstrated results
You have experience maintaining relationships with key client stakeholders and becoming a trusted advisorPreferred Requirements :
We would like you to have a graduate degree, such as an MBA.
We prefer experience in SAP Digital Transformation (S / 4, Hybris, Ariba, SuccessFactors)
Having detailed knowledge of the SAP ASAP / Activate methodology is a plus.
We prefer experience with Big 4 firms.
