You will leverage your knowledge of accounting to lead continuous improvement efforts related to our ERP (NetSuite) and other systems and accounting processes.

You will assist in providing periodic financial statements and reports to the executive team and BOD. Reporting duties would include assistance with preparing audit documents and consolidation of multiple entities.

As a member of the IPRO team, you must have a strong understanding of GAAP, work collaboratively with other to achieve goals, and demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.

Objective #1 :

Within your first 4 months, assist in improving and streamlining the month-end close process through automation and best practices

  • Gain an understanding of our monthly closing process with an eye towards meaningfully reducing our average close cycle
  • Reduce or eliminate the manual processes in monthly reporting
  • Assist team in implementing accounting processes with our European subsidiary
  • Objective #2 :

    Within your first 6 months, assist in automating work required from the accounting team

  • Improve the Company’s DSO through implementation of cash collection software tools for both domestic and international customers
  • Review sales tax process to ensure automation is setup properly and appropriate amounts are being collected and remitted to the states
  • Additionally, the Senior Accountant will be part of the following processes :

  • Assists with analysis of the financial results, ensure integrity and accuracy of the accounting information, and assist in producing financial statements that are prepared according to US GAAP
  • Responsible for compilation of monthly internal financial statements and GL analysis / account reconciliations
  • Collaborate with and respond to ad hoc requests from key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Research accounting issues to ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.
  • Technical chops We need to know that we can lean on you to assist in providing accurate financial information for both internal and external shareholders.

    Running our business properly requires an ability to accurately analyze and predict revenues and expenses and quickly course-correct when things go off course or take advantage of opportunities.

    This likely means you have a CPA certification or are in the process of obtaining and have experience working in a fast pace environment and are capable of pivoting quickly based upon business needs.

    Ideally you have experience in a growing software or technology company that has multiple entities with a basic understanding of ASC 606 and other applicable accounting guidance for the industry.

    A strong senior accountant understands how to multi-task while handling numerous requests from different stakeholders all while meeting expectations.

    Balanced (short and long-term) You will be directly responsible for the short-term goals and outcomes of the company through proper accounting and reporting, but you will also be expected to consider the long-term objectives of the organization.

    This means careful consideration on how your tasks become both automated and scalable as we continue to grow. You will have direct input into long term strategies of the accounting organization.

    Emotional agility You will need to demonstrate that you can make a difference quickly while embracing Ipro’s culture. You will also need to establish credibility across the organization spanning all functions and levels and a willingness to work with others to achieve a goal without taking all the credit.

    You are also comfortable formulating a plan quickly and committing to it, but flexible enough to scrap it and choose a different course of action when needed.

    Thrives in ambiguity - At times, this role will be responsible for taking nebulous ideas and translating them into specific, concrete actions.

    Your work will not always be paint-by-number. You will be comfortable taking vague direction, translating it into a plan, and enlisting those you need to get the job done.

    As such, you will have examples of times when you took a poorly- formed idea, sharpened it, and owned its execution from start-to-finish.
