We are seeking a Manager of Talent Attraction to join our team. The Manager, Talent Attraction advances the evolution of the Talent Attraction strategies,
as well as manages operational processes and practices for the Talent Attraction team.
Provides leadership to advance and integrate the inclusion & diversity strategy, drives continuous improvement and outstanding service delivery of the team, and helps build a
compelling talent brand. Works in partnership with the Onboarding Specialist and Learning &
Development team to ensure the onboarding process is successfully planned and executed, fostering an exceptional employee experience.
Position Overview The Manger, Talent Acquisition provides leadership and direction to the talent acquisition team and is accountable for the operational, continuous improvement and service delivery of the team.
participates in development and execution of a FW talent acquisition strategy that is aligned with the organization’s short term and long term goals and objectives.
Here’s what would be included as a part of your typical day :
Leadership : Provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of recruitment
professionals and ensures programs and services are delivered effectively and efficiently. Provides coaching and development, and establishes annual goals and objectives, and assesses performance of direct reports.
Provide coaching and leadership to business leaders to grow capability across organization in hiring managers, to create and foster a referral / recruiting mindset
Service Delivery : Develops service delivery standards and metrics for department and
collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure full cycle recruitment is completed in line with service standards. Ensures candidates presented for performance leaders are of high quality and match requirements for vacant role.
Lead execution of full life-cycle recruiting from posting, sourcing, screening, assessing, interviewing and offer negotiation.
Coach our team to strengthen candidate pipelines and effectively manage the portfolio of open roles across the team.
Talent Attraction strategy : Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive talent attraction strategy that supports business goals and includes social media, employer branding, inclusion & diversity, student / youth hiring, technology, recruitment tools,
and continuous process improvement. Build and evolve a Talent and EVP brand in-line with organizational strategies, including market research and competitive scans to target critical talent segments and help to define channel strategies for each.
Act as thought leader on Talent Attraction, ensuring the organization is always evolving and work together with the Onboarding Specialist and L&D team to ensure we are staying centered on a legendary candidate experience from first introduction to the completion of their onboarding.
Recruitment Metrics : Analyzes relevant data to assess talent attraction strategy ROI. Identifies trends, competitive activity and recommends improvements to recruitment plans.
Develops talent attraction metrics / reporting that aligns with future workforce needs, achieves business objectives, and supports workforce planning analysis.
Provide expertise on employment equity on a national scale, including fulfilling Diversity and Inclusion objectives and targeted sourcing for women, visible minorities, those who are differently-abled, and our First Nations of Canada.
Relationship Building : Develops and manages relationships with external agencies,
vendors, outreach organizations in advancement of inclusion and diversity goals, community groups, and post-secondary institutions that support talent attraction strategies.
Represents the company on related working groups and committees within and outside Credit Union system.
