This is a virtual position, can be located anywhere in Canada or the US
This role as Principal, Demand Generation & Management is accountable for driving the global demand generation plans through pipeline build strategies and development of scalable initiatives resulting in healthy pipeline.
Internally, this individual will partner closely with cross functional Internal Ecosystem teams to drive insights, create, and execute on a demand plan based on strategic business priorities by segment, market unit and solution.
Understand areas of strength and weakness across relevant solution areas, segments and industries based on business results and other KPIs
Monitor performance and progress of the activities to ensure alignment to pipeline health metrics
Analyze global environment to provide high-value Sales Program / Play recommendations based on their specific industry focus areas, account whitespace and targets
Proactive insights to executive leadership on demand planning, demand forecasting and demand execution
Develop an integrated demand plan with Sales, Marketing & Partner teams, coordinate / oversee execution, and track results to understand viability & repeatability within the market unit or segment
Build tactical sales plays tailored to specific targeted customer or prospect segments.
Lead globally across a cross functional team to deliver high impact global sales programs with minimum time to pipeline
Provide Voice of the Field input to Demand plans to help drive continuous improvement and relevance of program deliverables
Bachelor’s Degree in analytical discipline (Finance, Business, Computer Science, Engineering)
10+ years work experience in B2B demand generation activities or relevant experience
MBA or Equivalent Degree strongly preferred
Experience working with large technology companies is a strong asset
Exceptional relationship building skills, ability to collaborate & sell internally to achieve targets
Strong financial & business acumen and problem-solving skills
Exceptional oral and written executive communication skills
Strong Project Management skills
Ability to translate process into value-add business activities
Passion to challenge, improve and innovate at both a personal and organizational level
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple stakeholders and priorities, balancing short and long-term needs and implications
