    Assist in training staff and completing all training records.Assist in all aspects of turf maintenance for the SPR LLP golf course.

    Supervise work to achieve the most efficient utilization of employee and equipment.Assist the Superintendent in overseeing the maintenance of golf course equipment.

    Ideal Candidates : Minimum two years’ experience in turf maintenance.Working knowledge of construction, establishment and maintenance practices employed in all aspects of golf course systems.

    Must possess and submit valid Driver’s License.To provide leadership and direction to the crew at all times and especially in the superintendent’s absence.

    Supervising a crew of 15 according to the Superintendents instructions.Must be in good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects, do manual and all types of labour and willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

    Must be familiar with ISO 14001.Self-starter able to motivate and lead effectively and safely.Good working knowledge of current WorkSafeBC regulations.

    Must play and enjoy the sport of golf.Enjoy the natural mountain environment and fresh air. Sun Peaks mountain is a smoke-free environment.

    To maintain a welcoming environment for all our guests and protect our natural surroundings, effective August 01, 2019, smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere on the Sun Peaks mountain areas.

    Designated smoking areas will be limited to the village base.
