The incumbent will participate in developing and supporting the client's telecommunication and network technologies, such as the LAN / WAN infrastructure consisting of approximately 20 sites, the VoIP infrastructure, wireless, perimeter security, and various systems connected to the company's network.

  • Participate in various network analysis, execution, and support activities in connection with assigned projects or as a collaborator;
  • Suggest or recommend improvements to optimize the performance of existing network systems;
  • Follow up on and maintain the technologies under your responsibility using a proactive approach;
  • Carry out the necessary tests for projects and ensure follow-ups with our service partners and involved suppliers;
  • Write analysis, recommendation, or study reports. Be able to make presentations when required;
  • Produce technical architecture and support documents;
  • Ensure the technological watch of the technologies under your responsibility;
  • Leverage your mastery of network and telecommunication environments, such as TCP / IP, VLAN, BGP, HSRP, Spanning-Tree, QoS, SIP, etc.;
  • Analyze and summarize complex issues;
  • Ensure the updating of the documentation of the technologies under your responsibility;
  • Periodically assume the IT support availability rotation (24 / 7).
  • Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Systems Administration, Networking, and Security;
  • CCNA certification, an asset;
  • Good knowledge of : wireless technologies, VoIP, VPN, Palo-Alto firewall (an asset), MPLS, etc.;CISCO network components (such as Nexus NXOS, 2960, 3560, 4500, 9500 switches and ISE architecture), and Cisco wireless controllers;
  • Microsoft Visio;SD-WAN technologies, an asset.

  • Availability for support and intervention during evenings and weekends;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
  • Communication with teams in French and English. Level expected :
