Your Responsibilities Will Include
Overall production, preparation, presentation of food items for the various outlets : Restaurant, Lounge, Rooms Service and Catering facilities
Responsible for the ordering and set up of stations
Participation in menu development
Assisting in the development and training of Cook III's
Active participation in a multi-functional, cross-training team environment
Be supportive of creativity and innovation, and maintain a high level of professionalism and quality service
Must have technical or culinary school training. Preference given to Culinary Red Seal Trade Qualifications Certificate or recognized equivalent, or in the process of obtaining same through 3-
year apprenticeship program
Must have a minimum of 2 years cook experience, preferably in a Hotel environment with an ability to work in both hot and cold kitchens as well as production and Banquets
1 year of Production and Banquet experience is preferred
Food Safe level 1 required and Food Safe Level 2 an asset
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Possess the necessary skills to enhance food quality and presentation standards
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Team player and a self-starter, able to work independently and effectively as required
Ability to work effectively in an innovative and multi-tasked environment
