Based at the top of Blackcomb Mountain Christine's provides mountain-top dining in style. You can enjoy panoramic views, along with classic dishes prepared with the finest ingredients, and a diverse wine list to complement.

Order a wine flight for a sampling of new local and international wines for the complete experience. We are open for lunch in both summer and winter, and located at the top of the Solar Coaster Express in the Rendezvous Restaurant on Blackcomb Mountain, 1,860 meters up (6,102 feet).

This summer (June-September) we're looking for a Lead Hand to join the team.

What you'll be doing :

  • Striving to exceed our Guests' expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again
  • Overseeing our host team
  • Managing the reservation flow in the dining room
  • Daily floor plan set up
  • Act in MOD capacity on Assistant Manager’s days off.
  • Assist with all inventory controls.
  • Be accountable for all cash control procedures.
  • Assist with employee training, development and communication.
  • Provide quality control on all products and services.
  • Assist with scheduling and labour controls.
  • Promote a fair, harmonious, work environment.
  • Assisting with preparation for catering and special events.
  • Ensuring fair and consistent disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining a high standard of service and presentation at all times.
  • Being knowledgeable about all menu items; including daily specials.
  • Ensuring the accurate ringing in of all sales and preparing an accurate cash-out at the end of the day.
  • Greeting and hosting guests.
  • We are a company that works together and throughout the season you may be required to assist other departments as needed.

  • What we need from you :

  • Strong customer interaction skills.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Food Safe Certificate.
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Satisfactory criminal record check
  • Previous reception work is an asset
  • 2 years’ experience working in an upscale full service restaurant
