Role Summary :

  • Define and control production process including tooling and equipment.
  • Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment.
  • Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
  • Communicates across direct organization.
  • Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects / teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
  • Communicates across the function in area of expertise.
  • Essential Responsibilities :

  • Create and maintain plant level routings, BOMs, master data and work center data.
  • Work with engineering, quality, and production to develop manufacturing process and sequences.
  • Conduct lean events and special projects as required.
  • Work with HSE leads to develop product specific material handling methods and HRAs.
  • Develop shop floor layouts for new products.
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Production Process and Equipment.
  • Proficient in SAP with routing, BOM, master data and WC development.
  • Able to read blue print drawings
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Desired Characteristics :

  • LSS Green Belt Certification
  • VBA programming capability
  • Sand Screen / ICD Product knowledge
  • SAP scheduling system knowledge
