The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Key Responsibilities :
Work closely with Business analyst and Technology teams to understand business requirement and deliver the best technical solutions
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions
Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
Create and maintain technical requirements documents, minor development documents and other technical artifacts
Own Tech UAT, Production releases process and stability
Define and Own Data quality checks and Rules
Work closely with UAT & SIT team to ensure and validate the business rules
Understanding the working of Java / J2EE in Oracle database environment
Good Understanding of MS-Excel with features like Macro, v-Lookup etc
Skills required :
5+ years of industry experience with ETL Tools, Oracle Database with at least 1 year of real-time Java / J2EE experience in Database environment, 2 year of hands on oracle Database tuning, 2 years plus of Data warehousing design concepts.
Strong Database experience in Oracle Database environment.
Strong Hands on Experience on Unix Shell scripting.
Experience of Job Scheduling tool like AutoSys
Experience with BitBucket / TeamCity.
Passion for research and exploring the best solution for client
Ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey clear and concise thoughts and ideas
The ability to understand and document the needs of the client and to communicate these needs to the technology team is essential.
