FirstOnSite Restoration has an immediate opening for a Lead Contents Technician in our Vancouver branch.

Position Summary : The Lead Contents Technician leads the Emergency and Contents staff and Restoration Technicians to ensure contents handling procedures meet FOS and customer goals.
Maximize restoration and mitigation opportunities that provide value for our customer and improved GP to the job. Coach and support crew members on implementing correct contents handling procedures in a timely fashion.
Primary Responsibilities :
Lead the best quality team to achieve the objectives of our corporate strategic plan
Ensure that all personnel, sub-contractors, including branch personnel are following and are trained on the company health and safety policies and procedures.
Participate in or conduct toolbox meetings relating to health and safety and work procedures when on site
Develop a performance culture through providing all employees on your team with regular feedback and specific development plans
Manage and supervise Restoration Technicians for contents restoration projects
Assign tasks to Restoration Technicians and verify quality and service levels
Train and educate new employees on company policy and restoration procedures
Ensure Pack Out Control Sheets and NR Listings are completed and accurate
Ensure contents are dried, sorted and restored according to company policy and Adjustor requirements
Ensure contents are documented and entered into Contents Handling System per Adjustor Requirements by Restoration Technicians
Review and approve all contents estimates entered into Contents Handling System
Resolve complicated contents restoration issues
Report to and communicate all contents restoration requirements and issues both to the Emergency Supervisor and the Project Manager
Review and approve timesheets for Restoration Technicians for all projects
Participation in 24 / 7 management on call rotation
Education and Experience
Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in the restoration / emergency industry, preferably working in the Emergency & Contents division
Relevant cleaning and environmental experience considered an asset
Formal training in a related field
