Canadian Western Bank (CWB) is looking for a Registered Plan Administrator to join our team. Our Deposit Processing Centre is a super group of problem solvers.

You will work in this high functioning and busy unit that handles complex estate settlements and registered product processing for CWB.

Ideally, you will have some familiarity with registered products and tax reporting. You will work independently, but in a supportive and collaborative environment providing knowledgeable, courteous and efficient support.

  • An experienced professional with three to five years of banking experience. You’re able to rely on your advanced knowledge of all Bank products & services.
  • An administrative guru with organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills that impress.
  • A technology user with working knowledge of MS Office Suite products like Word and Excel.
  • A focused team member with advanced knowledge of CRA rules and OSFI guidelines as it pertains to Registered Plan Administration.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to perform tasks of a complex nature in defined time frames.
  • A collaborator with strong communication skills, focused on building lasting team relationships while contributing to a working environment you’re proud of.
  • Processing Registered plan transactions accurately, and efficiently for all products (RRSP, RRIF and TFSA), to ensure there is no negative impact to CRA reporting or to client accounts.
  • Ensuring policies and procedures are followed, escalating exceptions as required.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude and work effectively with management, support staff, and branches to enhance professionalism, productivity and team achievement.
  • Ensuring Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and quality benchmarks for all registered plan administration / transactions and Estate settlement are being met.
  • Acting accountable as a team member for the execution of work procedures, policies and methods to ensure compliance with Canadian Western Bank’s legal, regulatory business policies and procedures.
  • Providing knowledgeable, courteous and efficient support to CWB Group partners in relation to registered plan administration and personal estate settlement.
