Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales-Attachments Eastern Canada. This position will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to aid the regional sales team in engaging and developing Brandt Equipment Solutions products business including primarily attachments with John Deere construction dealers.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Participate with Regional Sales Managers in development and implementing plans for growing Brandt Equipment Solutions sales with John Deere Construction dealers.
Aid the sales team in achieving Brandt Equipment Solutions product sales growth by providing a high level of product, application, industry, customer and competitor knowledge
Coordinate and participate in delivering ongoing local product knowledge and application training for regional sales and dealer sales teams as scheduled
Support the regional sales team at key construction trade shows and events where Brandt Equipment Solutions products are on display in order to inform, educate, and promote Brandt and Brandt Equipment Solutions attachments with dealer sales teams and end users.
Support local Territory Managers in selling Brandt Equipment Solutions attachments through John Deere dealers.
Research and track competitor product pricing levels, activities, programs and tactics.
Provide market intelligence and feedback to ensure Brandt’s pricing, programs and marketing strategies are positioned to penetrate new markets and grow existing markets profitably.
Identify attachment product development opportunities that promote differentiation, enhance market penetration, and deliver increased profit opportunities for Brandt.
Provide insights and input on the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and profitability goals as per BES' business objectives for various product categories.
Assist product line asset management goals on turns and aging as well as protection of company assets.
Participate in end customer visits with the sales teams as required
Extensive travel throughout the region network alongside Brandt’s sales teams to actively support direct visits with major John Deere Dealers contacts and their customers (up to 3 weeks in a month)
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales and / or product or technical support knowledge and experience in heavy construction and forestry equipment working with manufacturers and / or dealers
Strong organizational skills and goal driven
Proven communicator with strong verbal and presentation skills and an ability to project, influence, and coach and collaborate in a sales team environment
Familiar with and possesses a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
Must be able to obtain or possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally
