1. Specific Responsibilities
1.1.Receives,examines and records through a login process, inbound samples for testing.
1.2.Deliverstest samples to the sample staging area.
1.3.Monitorsthe availability of supplies needed for testing processes, and makes any needsfor such supplies known to the Laboratory Manager.
1.4.Preparessamples and quality control specimens, prepares and standardizes reagents andsolutions, and confirm equipment is calibrated for the testing processes.
1.5.Performstesting of samples and quality control specimens using specified methodology.
1.6.Verifiesand communicates results obtained, and makes appropriate entries into EPF of instrumentlogs, control charts, calibration records, laboratory worksheets, and any othermedia, whether print or electronic, required, assuring the validity andtraceability of the information.
1.7.Maintainsdocumentation, equipment, and work areas in a neat, orderly and safe condition.
1.8.Assistsin the training of less experienced employees.
1.9.Carriesout all of the above responsibilities in a supportive manner with adherence tothe Company’s Safety Policy and Procedures, Quality Management System, EthicsPolicy, Environmental Management System, Vision and Strategy, and exercisesgood judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.
1.10.Otherduties related to the above, as assigned
1.11.Carryingout all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to : theCompany’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, QualityManagement System, Compliance and Ethics Policies, Vision, Mission andStrategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.
1. Education and Experience Requirements
1.1.Highschool education or equivalent.
1.2.Testingexperience or formal physic or mechanical education is an advantage.
