Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Partner Development Executive will be responsible for the strategic recruitment and development of channel and wholesale partners.
This highly organized individual will manage the day to day relationships between TeraGo and our partners. Responsibilities :
Strategically recruit and develop alternate channels that will sell TeraGo’s solutions to meet and exceed sales quota and business plans.
Provide direct support to channel partners as needed to assist in closing business opportunities with their prospects and customers
Provide updated forecasts and activity reports as required and attend regular performance review sessions
Assist with the development of resources, tools, and programs (partner applications, presentations, sales agreements, marketing materials, web-
based and online tools, compensation programs, incentive programs etc.)
Facilitate and conduct product, procedure, and sales training with channel and wholesale partners to ensure quality and effective representations of TeraGo’s offerings.
Provide on-going, top-level, relationship management and support of national channel partners.
Help lead the overall direction and development of the national channel partners
Manage the day to day issues of the relationship between TeraGo and their partners
Education & Experience :
5-7 years sales experience. Telecommunications, Cloud or Colo and Alternate Channel preferred.
Channel experience in Data, Access or Cloud
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related area is desired.
Skills & Abilities :
Understands solution selling and creating value for mid to large channels and carriers
Excellent communication and presentation skills including effective phone interaction skills.
Proven ability to prospect and cultivate strong relationships with key channel partners and resellers.
Strong knowledge of internet access technologies and / or LAN / WANs is a must.
Effective at coordinating and conducting channel partner training programs.
Knowledge of the GTA marketplace a definite asset.
Energetic and self-motivated with a passion for new business sales;
A good mix of hunter and customer relationship management skills.
Proven track record of success and meeting or exceeding quota consistently.
Strong sense of urgency and a burning desire to succeed; ability to close business.
